V-CD picture sequence of images changed?

I took 400 digital vacation picture and created a CD to view on a DVD / TV. I;m using ROXIO version 6. The pictures are in order on my pc file but when they are written to at CD the order is scrambled. I don't understand why? How can creat a CD with the pictures in the orginal order?

I have looked into Roxio and can not find any options setting anywhere
