cant burn a cd help!

recently purchased a nikon D60 and started taking photos for people want to sell them the whole set on a cd but for some reason cannot get them to burn i have tried on 3 different computers with no luck it always says there is not enough room on the disk but i have even tried burning as little as one pic to a cd my pics are between 1.5 and 3.5 mb does anyone know what the problem could be

A cd will hold 700 meg I would say your pics are to big. So there should be plenty of room for that size of file.

1. What kind of cd's are you trying to use?
2. How are you burning them?
3. What is the exact error you are getting?

Well that can't be true.
If a picture is only 3.5meg and a CD holds 700meg there should be room for 200 images.

The puzzling part is that you say you've tried it on three different computers.
The only thing I can think of is that when your files were too large the first time, you didn't check the box to delete temporary files, but I doubt that would carry over to another computer.
Like GB said, I think it is a computer problem, not a camera problem.

Can you make us a screenshot of the error you're getting? There's definitely something wrong. But we need more information. Have you tried burning files other than your digital images to CD? I would try that as a control to see if the problem lies with the images. It's not likely that it does, though. I am 99.9% certain that this is a computer problem.

Could be a bad CD too, spilledmelk, esp if you tried it on three separate computers. If not bad, it could be closed (won't allow any more writes to it). Good luck

Is there a setting that is allocating zero space for the cd partition? or perhaps you're accidentally trying to write a whole volume when you think you're just writing one image?

I'm thinking it has something to do with your settings when you set up for the burn. Have you gone through it methodically to see if you're doing it exactly correct?

try coping the files over to the computer first and see if you can find out how much room they are really taking up. (copy them to a folder and then right click and choose properties to see the info you need).
Sounds like you are trying to copy directly from the memory card or the camera. That could cause a problem.
