Yellow for Now

Seem a little slow on this side today so I'll post something that I might not usually put up. But lets see what you think. I liked the constast between the bright yellow bloom and those that were dead or dieing around it. What do you guys think? And oh yes do you think th image is too soft as Liz suggested over on VF?

I think Liz is right...seems a shaper focus could have made for a better photo.
It does have everything else going for it...I like where the flowers are placed and the contrast between the flowers. Also the foliage allows the flowers to stand out, which is very nice.
I wonder if a sharper focus would have brought the foliage out more and made for a less dramatic bg? Possible re-shoot?
