I'm not clear on the meaning of this shot. It seems posed, but what's the story? what's the commentary?
I left out the story because I wanted to get the reaction to the photo first. Yes, it's posed. I pulled my dining room table apart (as if to put in the leaf) and got in the middle with the ketchup arranged around me. The full story and another photo is here. On a tighter crop of the photo with my two year old, I liked how his head interacted with the bottles so I setup this shot with my own noodle.
What a fun portrait!
The lighting on it is a little flat, that is the colors(red) doesn't quite "pop".
But, I do like how you arranged things, and the model has a very playful expression.
You might consider posting this in the Lighting forum, for some lighting help...

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and is, thereby, a true manifestation of what one feels about life in its entirety...” - Ansel Adams
I have no comment on this photo, but i have to just say that that story is too, too funny. I used to live in Michigan, and I used to have all kinds of fun doing stuff like this with mijer. LOL...they make shopping fun!

OH! Ha ha ... too bad I don't live in KY. We've finally made it to the bottom of our bottle here, and need to pick up another.
