    World war II monument

I have passed this monument for many years never knowing what it was. I stopped to check it out the other day.

Did you shoot this from a worms eye view? I think you should have tried to get a more traditional shot, meaning getting the full monument, straight up & down from the front with a little ground included. Or maybe just a dead on shot of the inscription on the side would do.

There was really to many distractions in the background for a traditional shot. Houses, cars, ect. It was also hard to get the whole monument in the shot and still read the writing.

How about just a close up of the inscription only? Somtime if you can't get the "big picture" a more detailed smaller photo can be more effective.
