    Flower - New Camera VIII

There's always a flower shot somewhere in these tests! This is resized from a 1200x1200 crop. Sharpening is the only other extra. As it is a flower the border is slightly fancier.

Comments are welcomed. Guesses as to Camera?

I like the beautiful colors here, yet the out of focused bud on the right is distracting. Nice shot, but maybe crop it out or make it a little more sharp.

    Nice colors,

Very nice shot. The oof background looks almost like green velvet. The bud helps the composition, I vote to leave it in.

    Hi,
I like the background and the bud very well. Their colour is very soothing.

    drg,

i dont usually like ANY flower shots, for their done a lot a lot a lot.....but for some reason this one was just calling my name, and i love it. It almost is just coming out at me with very vibrant colors, and the background is wonderful as well. but i do agree with jar e with the distracting bulb on the right.it would be better without it.

but even with it i like it.

    good eye

I have to agree with Jar. I love the colours and the background blur, but dont like the bud. maybe, I'm not sure a crop is needed, maybe if you can reshoot and tape the bud under the petals of the flower. Just a thought!!

Thanks All for looking and the comments! Remember, this is a 'test' shot so I've intentionally be playing with focus fall off to see what happens. This one did come out better than I thought it might.

I'll be revealing the camera shortly.
