    Woods and Sky

This is a late fall shot from my backyard here in NH. The bold contrast between the white, gold and blue that day just looked so incredible I had no other choice but to snap it. The shot is sort of a cliche but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Very very nice shot. I love how your framed it. I do have one question, however, did you tweak it much in Photoshop or is that an "as is." No harm either way, I was just curious. Beautiful shot

Nice photo, I like the color contrasts, however I might of moved to a different angle to eliminate the tree in the front right to make it less distracting.

I confess I did tweak it, but only a little. I initially planned on posting it "as is" but thought the leaves could use a tad more saturation. I shot using a polarizer which brought out a great deal of the blue sky. Since I was already tweaking the leaves I nudged the blue up a smidge as well. But it really wasn't much.

I tried to get a better angle, and shot from several different locations, but this was the only shot that worked well. Since I couldn't get rid of the tree, I decided to try and use it as part of the composition and frame the leaves with it. I thought it worked well as a compromise.
