Thanks for sharing C.L., I'm sure the new parents will treasure that shot for years to come!

    CL congrats to all,

If you want critique then I think the picture looks a little soft and overexposed a tad, composition wise no problem with it.

    Hi CL,
Congratulations! I like the triangular composition of the three.

congratulations on the new member of the family!
regarding the shot, think it needs a wee bit of focus, however, the composition is excellent, and the new parents have to be delighted with it, you've captured a beautiful moment.

Thank you for the kudos everyone. We think he's a perfect little baby.

As far as the image, I took this with soft in mind so I am glad to see the comments in that direction. Handheld with available light ISO 3200 1/10 F4. Hospital rooms are very hard places and I wanted to soften the world for our newest little one a bit. The brightening of the scene was done in post, also to enhance the soft look. The original has more contrast and deeper shadows across the mom which just wouldn't do. Thank you for sharing your opinions.

Nice capture! A tad bit soft but I think that's because you didn't use a flash (probably your decision to keep it nature). I think capturing the moment is the most important thing, and you got it !!!!
