Winter Sunrise

I got up early this morning to see this on my tree. Couldn't resist a snap. What do you think?

You are truly amazing Chow. You have a wonderful eye for things and always seem to do well no matter what the subject matter is. Love the colors and how you can tell the lower part of the tree is till in shadows. I can envision myself there just waiting for the rest of that peachy orange color to hit the rest of the tree and it's snow covered branches.

Nice colors and a nice angle of view. But for me, I just find it a tad soft and not a strong enough subject. I'm sure you did the best with what you were given, but I think an ideal shot for something like this would be to have it off centred (rule of thirds) and than just have it all by itself. It's a tight crop, so a little breathing room would be nice!

There was powerlines and a neighbors house on either side of the tree. I also have this annoying problem where I am a very symmetrical person(I even do it with my house decor) but I will take what you said and try to apply it to future shots. Thanks!
