    Splitting Hairs

At my work place over the weekend I had a bit of spare time and looked for a few different, non building shots. This is on of part of an old 13th Century archway complete with it's old nail. Taken indoors without flash, just the modern ceiling strip lights. Had the camera on the old tripod though. Took three or four of this at different angles.
    What do you think?

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I really like this, its a good composition, well lit, and you can really feel the textures of the different materials. The depth of field may be just a little too shallow to do the whole thing justice, but that's all I'd change. Well spotted!

I agree, nice composition but some of the colors let this image down.

The edge of the HUGE nail , seem a little blurry as well, if a little sharper would be great,

Would love to see this a bit sharper, do you mind visiting your local nail again ?

    Well Spotted and nice composition!

Nice shot. The only other thing I could recommened is maybe cropping some of the rock out. It seems at times it's overwhelimg the picture, but it still does work right now.

    Nice shot,

    Jared
