    Wiahi Falls
This is my first go at a waterfall shot, been a bit of rain lately so thought I'd have a look.
Hope this ones not over sharp as they have tended to be of late

Pete, love the scene. I can never seem to get that smooth water look and keep everything sharp.
    Any advice?

Incredible view. Nicely captured. I think you've nailed the foreground, falls, trees, etc. But there's something about the sky that I don't like. I think it might be how not so blue the sky is. I think a bit of saturation to bring back a deep blue sky might help. I'd leave everything else alone though. Good stuff.

I like the second edit with the darker sky. Nice processing. Also beautiful job capturing the falls its so easy to let the highlights get out of hand on fall shots. Nice job.

Skitheast, Greg, armando appreciate you guys taking the time to comment, I've tried to rein in my tendency of late to over cook an image. One day I might get it right ........:)
Come high summer ( February ) this is probably not much more than a damp cliff.

definitely has a 3d/hdr feel to it. I assume at 1/10 this was not handheld. I'd actually love to see this if you could have gone down to 1-1.5 sec, but that would call for a +8 ND filter.
