As a self-proclaimed "abstraction and architecture guru", I have to tell you that with all three of your shots, you have made the opposite mistake of the one most people make: you have abstracted too much. IOW, you've cut so much context out of the image (either by eliminating an extra shape or line or whatever), that it's hard to get interested in the photos.
There just isn't enough "dimensional interest" in them to keep the eye's attention for very long IMO. So, I will give you the advice opposite of what I usually give and that is to say, you should either use a wider angle focal length or stand back a bit (or both) and really show us more of the "big picture" in your abstractions. That doesn't mean you have to show the whole house / whole wall, but just enough for us to see what first caught your eye.
Keep at it; I have a feeling you have a natural eye for this, you're just getting a bit too fixated on "the small stuff". Really take the time to compose and look over your images next time. If there is "other stuff in the way" of the shapes and textures that interest you, move on. Don't let obstacles force you to take a picture that isn't there....
