    Cool. Wish the pelican was looking to either side like theother birds and wish the sea was darker blue.

    NICE JOB for bad lighting! a 550ex at -.3 ev would even this lighting nicely(my 1D sync's very high, no clue about high speed sync with 10D), BUT in FP you'd need +2? ev to throw flash 25-30 feet(light fall off would give you the light needed)

    Bad Lighting

    Paul:
    Thanks for the tips! I have got to do something about the lighting challenges when shooting in the field. I'm thinking about getting the Better Beamer. That's gotta help, huh? Now, if I could just convince my wife I need to trade in the old 420EX for the 550, I'd be in good shape. I'll tell her Paulnj said I have to.
