    Hi...

    Ok..

Here is something very special for me...
Today my wife is having a few friends over and this is the table where everybody is going to get wasted..
    Anyway.. that's not the deal..
I took this picture with a Nikon 43-86mm 3.5 NON-AI that is a mess (dust inside, some fungus in the front glass, super stiff aperture ring). I bought it on ebay for 8 bucks.. BUT: for the first time I did a home made AI conversion and it WORKS...
Test it with a N2000,F90x and this picture was taken with my D70.. wohaaaaa
    C.C wanted

    D70/43-86mm Non-AI now AI..;)

if feels good to make a 1971 lens (piece of equipment) works with a 2006 camera body (another piece of equipment).

Sounds like a project! Congrats on trying it .... I think I'd end up finding some other things to do. I guess you're an engineer at heart.

I like the image colors and the overall composition (the way the wine bottles step up). Obviously they are very soft and fuzzy - was that a limitation of the lens work? Even so, it has an artsy feel to it -- maybe this is how people view bottles after they've drank a few already eh?
