San Francisco shoreline at sunset from Treasure Island

    Hi,
I took this picture a few months back when the weather was good.
    Exposure: 1/25 f/18 ISO 100

Any C&C would be greatly appreciated!

BTW, I had to convert the file to medium quality for the upload to succeed. Not sure what the size limit of the upload is

    Thanks.

Interesting composition pawn, I would like to see the city scape part lightened a bit and some of that detail bought out of the shadows, possibly lighten the water a tad as well. It would also be interesting to compare this with one in which the sun had just set.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Regarding the original image, I am often conflicted by this kind of result where it is too light to be a true silhouette, while too dark to provide the detail necessary to add significant interest. Because Pete suggested lightening the exposure to provide that detail, I will take the opposing viewpoint, and suggest darkening to create a true silhouette of the cityscape. A conversion to black and white may provide even more impact.

I like the second, twilight image, however the exposure lacks sharp clarity. Maybe increasing blacks and boosting clarity will provide that snap.

Hmm.. This one throws in the sun to spice things up. I like the peaceful water. The sky's OK, though it would be better if it were cloudy.

As far as the rest, not sure if it has any discernible property to put it over the top. The skyline is fair but doesn't quite hold my interest. Certainly nothing wrong as far as photographic skill here, just a so-so scene.
