What do you get from this picture?

I get that the old is being fazed out to make room for the new.

What gives me that impression is the juxtaposition of the old church and the new building behind it with the crane to the side.

I think that's the first thing that will come to everyone's mind. (normal ones anyway )

I can see the "out with the old, in with the new" theme of the photo, however, the washed out colors on the new building, versus the darker church and the odd mixture of colors throughout make it look almost collage-like.

Maybe next time I'll try to HDR this one and see how it comes out.
