Re: wet hot rod...
I really like this shot. How much was cropped?

Re: wet hot rod...
Hmm. At first I didn't like this much, but the more I look at it the more it brings back HS memories. I would like it more if the background (upper right) was different. The crop makes the car look evil though, and the water on the hood adds a lot to the photo.....

Re: wet hot rod...
I agree about the background G, the first thing I thought when I looked at the photo was that there is a bit too much going on and really that is the other car in the top right. I think it would have been greatly improved if that had just been wet road.
An amateur prospective of course.

Re: wet hot rod...
I really like this and wish I had more of an eye for shots like this. anyway, the background is a little bright and some selective brightness adjustment would help. I like the other car in the photo as it gives it a locational perspective, or whatever

Re: wet hot rod...
Sorry, I'm just not feeling all warm and fuzzy about this one, for the reason GB1 and Martin Brazil stated, but further, if not intending to include the whole car anyway, might as well crop that third car (upper right) out completely, and I don't think clipping the last half inch of the bumper on the right or the bottom half inch of the tail lights is helping out either. I do like the idea, the water droplets and the fact that the SS nameplate made it fully into the shot. Color is good too. If that is in fact a '65 Chevelle parked to the right, it may have made a cool image to include the second car, but as it stands, the blue car is neither in the shot or out of it, it's just a distraction (as is that hunk of rope).

Thank you all........
I did crop this one pretty far down. Mostly I wanted to display the water droplets against the paint.
Thank you all for comments, great stuff....
