Re: Wet Flower On Board
Arne - Like the flower but not the board, it seems very artificial. If you could move the flower to a more natural setting - a grassy field, around other flowers, or even inside a home on a table, with a bright area behind it and shoot the flower with a very shallow DOF, ..

Re: Wet Flower On Board
I like the flower as well ...but since you said you found it on the street, I would have shot in on the street. For fun - if you like this type of stuff- you could find a set of tire tracks somewhere and it would make it look like a car ran over the flower ...or something similar. Also, in the current image, I don't care much for the circle in the lower right ...not sure how this adds to the image.

Re: Wet Flower On Board
Thanks guys. Just to clarify, the board was in the street with the fallen flower on it. I moved nothing. I suppose the unnaturalness (?) is what attracted me to the shot.
Also, look at the shot as though it might be an overhead shot of a ballerina on stage.
That's the way my mind thinks anyway :)

Re: Wet Flower On Board
I usually don't say this, but the flower is the only interesting element. Maybe you should crop out more of the board.
