    Peek-a-boo

Ms. Squirrel today on my walk. I liked how she was just peeking out, but is there enough of the face for it to work?

I like it Cara! It would be neat if his nose was poking out, but there is enough of him there to tell he is a squirrel. Nice catch!

Great Cara! The focus is right on where it should be and the composition is very nice. Might benefit from a slightly tighter crop, but really fine as it is. This is a delightful twist on an ever so photographed animal.

Beautiful picture. I keep going back to it to just look at the eye again.

    Excellent work!

That is great! I like everything about it. Must've used a long lens, no?

    Thanks everyone

Dray, I was using the Canon 300mm f/4L I rented.

cm, at one to one in lightroom I could make myself out in the eye, just barely

Lovely shot...really looks just perfect to me. I like the fact that there isn't much face visible---adds a heightened sense of "mystery" (in a cute way ).

Also love the simple composition and tight framing. Great sharpness.
