    Wow the colors, I like this photo but how did you get the colors. Was it taken at sun rise or sun set?

    I really like the colors, but the composition doesn't work for me. If you cropped either the top or the bottom to move the horizon out of the center of the photo, it would be more pleasing.

    I think I agree with Michael.

    Emotionally I like the golden, rippling water on the bottom, and I appreciate how finely-modeled the boats are, there is a good amount of detail there. I am put at a distance by the vibrating blue on the top..

    Looking at it with paper covering most of the blue I am more responsive to it.

    I do not know if that is entirely because of the composition, or if it is partially too, because I find the quality and quantity of blue in the top third overwhelming to the rest of the picture..

    I agree with some of the other comments here. I find the composition awkward with the horizon in the middle as well as the boats heavily weighted in the middle. also, the electric blue color in the sky does not work here for me. It, along with the centered horizon enhances the feeling of the image being cut in half. When cropped into a square with most all of the blue cropped out, the image draws me in and feels much better overall.
