Walk to Work
I used to work in Stockley Park Heathrow, which is the largest business park in europe (apparently), home to Activision, Apple, BP, British Gas and some other rather large companies.
Anyhow I used to walk through Stockley Park Golf course, and it gives a great view of Heathrow Air Port and the Surrounding area, must be the highest area for a fair few miles.

Re: Walk to Work
My only nit pick is: the sun in the frame has caused most of the frame to be under exposed. I do like the photo and I feel that having the sun in the frame was not a good idea. I read feel that mist4 and mist5 are the best of the photos you have posted or linked to.

Re: Walk to Work
Motive - It has some decent aspects about it: the moodiness, the expanse, the way the background fades.. But there's just too many technical issues, like shooting into the sun that created lens flare, very high contrast (which wipes out the details of everything else but the sun), and unattractive colors (but hey, it is England). I'd categorize this one as more of a memory shot to remind you of things than an artistic success. Both types of shots are important for different reasons, but the former is normally seen by the shooter in a different light.
Hope to see more shots in the future!

Re: Walk to Work
The whole image looks murky to me-probably due to you shooting into the sun. There is also a lot of foreground with very little detail, perhaps a panaromic crop......

Re: Walk to Work
Interesting idea. I like the murky aspect but would crop some of the foreground and maybe burn the horizon a little.
