A visit to Government House Garden in Victoria, BC.

Well, just got back from spending some time around my old childhood stomping grounds in Victoria, BC, Canada. A few pictures taken while taking a walking tour of the grounds at Government House.

I like the second one (fountain) best, but it is not completely sharp?

Not bad, but they sort of scream for a wider angle lens, providing there was some good stuff on the sides to photograph. I agree on the blurry fountain - what happened with that one? Perhaps the auto focus wasn't focused on the right area? The cherry blossoms (if they are!?) seem very close to being a very nice image, but are sort of washed out. I also think that lower right out of focus branch really hurts the image. A shot like this would prob be best if everything was tack sharp.

Nice place to grow up in BTW, but I am sort of biased towards green areas, which we don't see much of out here.
