View from the Deck

Taken about sundown yesterday afternoon over looking the Ohio River. D70, ISO 400, 18-80 mm at about 24mm, 1/180 at f6.5. What is your take on this?

My take is that I wish I had that view from my deck. *smile* Nice pic, a little dark in the corners, but imo that only emphasizes the pretty colors on the lake and provides a nice framing. I'm very drawn into this pic, it makes me feel like I'm sitting on the green grass looking out at the view.

I like it too except I finf it to be a bit dark in corners as stated. ( funny i would be telling you that huh?) I like the ripples in the water and the glow on it. Also everything else in the shot is almost as silhouettes, but just enough light yet to make out some colors. nice mood

I can't believe it! I was thinking of you the whole time I was getting this ready to post. I keep thinking "Boy here is one that Gary can really get into." Now here I am over on the dark side and you are posting all these brilliant colors. Who would have thunk it?
