Up on the Roof....(1st Layer attempt)

OK.......this layer stuff is addictive! I'm still learning. All comments are greatly appreciated.
I took three or four shots of this duck that had flown up on this nearby roof.

Nice subject and a beautiful picture to try layers on. The line between colors and black and white is very defined though, I would recommend blurring the edges a tad just to avoid the sharp conflict. Maybe a little more vibrant colors in the duck too, but it works.
