    Underneath

First time to post a photo. I am interested in any and all feedback. This was just a Saturday afternoon walk-about with my K10.

    Re: Underneath

Welcome, and a great first post. i like the framing here and the symetry is strong. Very good subject. The only thing here is that it feels to be missing another element in the fg. A model posing under the trestle, or an old mean grungy dog snarling at you . . I dunno something that this great scene can frame and compliment.
    Really well framed

I like the strong lines but agree that the shot seems to lack a central point of focus, maybe a bicycle or a car parked by that wall?

    Re: Underneath

Hi Ptax, glad to see you were able to get something uploaded I agree with Gary and Yuck on this and that, processed as is, it does need another element. This is mainly because there is no real emphasis on the bridge or any other element of this shot. I think if you played with some levels (contrasting, black point, etc) the shot could work without another element though. Great first shot you have here and I look forward to more

    Re: Underneath

I am thinking along the lines of the other reviewers in that this has the makings of a good image but as it sits something is lacking.

My take is that the foreground doesn't add much interest to this image. If you cropped from the bottom up to the base of the second set of pillars the overhead lines would be a lot stronger in the frame and the grafitti covered barrier would also become more important.

    Worth a try.
    No, I DON'T need that.
