    Two portraits

    Two "grab" portraits from March 2009.

    I think they look good.
    I only see a slight problem though, I wish the hair wasn't so over exposed.
    in the second picture looks too blended in with the background.

    so you see....different eyes....I think the seond merges well and is far more a composite picture !

    He pops better with the darker background but the light was bad enough to make him squint in both images-probably not anyones best look.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    I prefer the first. The squinting doesn't bother me....looks natural to me. More of a smile squint than a light squint.

    Both nice shots. Very natural expressions.

    I do wish the highlights weren't blown out on the top of his head in the first. Have you tried recovery in either ACR or Lightroom?

    Thanks everyone for the comments. I agree about the washed-out area on the hair, I tried to restore it a little.
