    A good place to rest

Another picture from my Vienna trip. Did some cropping, and channel mixing in PS.

I feel this is shouting out for space between the bench and the tree. Interesting change in colour/texture on the foreground walkway right in front of the benches foot. What about that perfectly manicured hedgerow behind? Seems to be a little tilted to the right. I like it all the same.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Not a bad shot. I do not like how the tree lines up with the corner of the bench so even and the contrast in front of the bench is a littl distracting too...but all in all it is not that bad of a shot.

I do not know how to solve the tree lining up with bench but ou could crop away some of the foreground to correct the sidewalk contrast.

    Formal

Nice formal composition. I would actually crop part of the tree out and bring the top edge closer to the horizontal lines for an even tighter composition, and really make the lines that much more emphatic.
