I think you are a little too tight in on Joyce but the self portrait is striking with just enough background to give a setting.

Now many image taking devices do you own anyway?

Crazy .. those cells are good on the fly. Too bad they're not close to matching regular camera quality.

I read a chapter in National Geographic Field Guide that talks about camera phones. There was a photographer who used a cell phone camera for a photo-journal across country.

I've seen people shooting candids on the streets with cell-phone.

Joyce is a little tight as MB1 said but I like it except for the reflection in her glasses.
The one of yourself is pretty cool.
