    Tropical Lake
Taken last year at Adjuntas, Puerto Rico. Its a beautiful place in one of Puerto Rico's coldest areas, called Lago Las Garzas.

I cloned out a few things (poles, cars etc...) I have two versions, one in color and another in black and white. What you think?

Striking. How'd you get those trees to pop like that? Pretty amazing.

I definitely prefer it in color.

Quite pretty. I like the color version, too. Perhaps you might crop off the top. The sky tones (washed out cyan) and the top of the trees aren't in keeping with the rest of the image.

I've been to PR twice and really found it beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I have two photos on this critique board, should you care to comment.

Definitely the color. I agree with Lava about the color at the top. My lack of skills would only allow me to crop, but if you have the skill to do some PP magic on the color at the top, it would be a better photo, I think. I notice the reflection of the house in the water is kind of odd. It's pretty but the color is even more intense than on the literal house which seems strange to me. Is that the way it was? And the dirt is really red, too. If you were near Oklahoma City, you would see red dirt but not that red. Is that the way it was? Where are you shooting from?

Its a nice composition and the reflection really adds to it but I must say that at least on my screen the colors are way over saturated for my taste plus the top looks the opposite with a strange glare.
I think this can be improved with a more natural look IMO.

The sky at the top and the top of the trees certainly need fixing.. shouldn't be a biggy in post, seeing as you cloned some cars and poles out nicely.

I prefer the color version much more than the B&W.

    Very nice....very nice indeed.

Okay guys I corrected the cyan look of the very top of the mountains and made some changes to the skies hue. I honestly think its not over saturated and the mud or clay is quite reddish although I cannot compare it with the Oklahoma dirt you mention because Ive never seen it! LOL! The reflection of the house is like that...dont really know the reason for that change in the water's reflection color.
