    green and pleasant land

I don't like the spread of oilseed rape across the country.
It has a very unpleasant smell, and an almost fluorescent yellow flower.
Not the pleasant golden yellow of fields of wheat in autumn.
More like a child colouring in the countryside with a highlighter.

I think rape is related to broccoli. Hence the smell. Its the same smell you get when driving through King City and the surrounding area during the summertime. Past Gilroy and Salinas on Hwy 101 in California. Lots of cauliflower fields. Same kind of smell. Am I supposed to be critiquing this? Sorry. On to the more "important" part...

Overall, I would say a good composition. The tree is nicely off center, and is a good shape. I would say though, that the picture looks a tad overexposed. It might just be the rape flowers. Like you said, very fluorescent yellow. I might deal with that first. Other than that, a nice picture. Other than the trees and the lack of mountains in the distance, it reminds me of the cauliflower fields around King City. I knew I could add an irrelevant comment somewhere in here.

Amazing shot. I love how the sky is white, and the tree is a great contrast to that. The yellow is great, and a very nice shot!

    Great shooting,
