Tree at Sunset

Blast away.

I can't quite get a good feel for this image. it seems to be underexposed somewhat. The sky is a beautiful blue. I think it might help alot if you were to take this shot again but stand back So we can see this (what seems to be a dead tree) in more of its surroundings. Maybe seeing it's shadow thrown on the field and exposing so that the trees in the background are not just dark murky shadows. I do think this scene has alot of potential. . . .try another shoot if you can

It has potential, but you need better light for this one.
Try to shoot a sharper image too.

I think this has real potential, but IMHO is not executed in the right way. I agree with the other viewers that it should be lighter - more exposure, perhaps. I see images like this as best taken close-up... in other words, maybe 4-5 feet away from the tree, sitting on the ground, capturing the trunk as it juts up from the ground, with some of the branches visible in the top portion, and some of the grass along the base visible as well... this tree has a bleakness about it stemming from its being situated alone, and of course being dead :)

Anyway, that's my 2 cents... everyone's got their opinion, right? :D Overall, I think you have a very interesting subject. Would like to see a re-shoot if you do one! Thanks for posting!
