Translucent color

Experimental: Indoors and out.Flower in a vase.
Image #5~ was taken late in the day, I used ISO800.No flash. What do you think?

i have to say i like the second one the best out of the open flowers, i like its tight crop, but overall i think the last would have to be my favorite, i light the light colors on the dark background

derrick......I too, like the last one best, but it seems a little soft. Was that by design to meld with the bg?

Well, they all seem to have merit, but they're all too soft IMO. Was the wind blowing, and did you use a tripod? Just doesnt quite satisfy when the main subject is somewhat blurry like that, esp when the background is blurred so that the subject stands out against it. Gotta use that tripod :)

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.I agree.Lack of a tripod is the exact result.;I know... A VR lense is high on my list. I shot the first 4 at 1/40th. I shot # 5 @ 1/20th hand held Not bad eh?
