    More San Jose City Hall

Here are a couple more that I took while at the City Hall last week. This is from the outside of the rotunda which is a suspended glass structure. It's pretty cool to see.

Do either of them work? What would improve them?

    Many thanks,

    PC

    PC,

Is the right picture on its side?

Can't quite figure out what I'm looking at.

I like the colours and the pattern in the first but that is about it. I don't have any context to hang the photo's onto which is giving me a problem.

I like your colors and exposure, but both of these are too difficult to look at. The subject matter is too busy. Like readingr said, I don't even know what I'm looking at. Your other one worked much better because the lines were simpler.

Thanks guys, that's good feedback. I guess this is one of those cases where my familiarity with the building clouds my perception. Both shots are oriented correctly. The building has a large metal frame with glass panels attached below it. The shot on the right shows the frame as it rises to the peak of the building. Alas, having to explain this means that the shot doesn't really convey what it needs to. Maybe I should just say that it's supposed to be abstract  and leave it at that.
