    Don,

    the contrast in the first is too strong...although i like the composition...

    In the second, i think it would have been better with either more of the road and mountain in the background, or none at all....

    I think both exposures are somewhat off, but unfortunately i dont have enough experience with snow! but i'm sure someone will have know how (Ronnoco maybe??)

    Thanks Marc. This is Manitoba--no mountains--no hills. This is a little drainage gully beside the CN main line.
