    Toy Train DOF exercise
This is an exercise in DOF. What improvements can I make here? Thanks.

I think here your DOF as I bit to narrow. A newer looking train would work, do you have Salty? He is my favorite engine. Maybe have Cranky lowering something into one of those troublesome box cars. I raised two kids and a grandson and they all liked Thomas. Try something else I like it?

I think the shot itself is just dandy, but the coloring is too bright. The background just seems to neon compared to the train + track. Something a little more muted in the background color as well as a slightly deeper DOF would be perfect.

You might also take a couple shots off to the sides a little more as well (not so head on with the train). Try some revisions and post it again. It's a neat idea.

Hate to disappoint Greg, but these were at my mother's ENT Dr's office. This is what is set up for the little ones while they are waiting. I have a new granddaughter, so I'll have to wait a few years to get up to speed on Thomas and pals.:)
