Re: Tomorrow
Just saw this after commenting on the other shot, this is really appealing and makes you 'wish you were there', am really not sure how this could be improved...great stuff.

Re: Tomorrow
I like this shot too. In the other one, I was bothered by the blur on the right hand figures - but in this one you have nailed them in a lovely silhouette against the sky. It has a lovely "end of day", peaceful feel about it. It's a good one!
Cheers

Re: Tomorrow
Yep, this one works for me. I like your limited dof giving the sky and distant ocean a dream-like effect. Very nice

wow...no, I take that back...WOW

Re: Tomorrow
Thanks for your comments.
I played with this one and decided it made the most impact LARGE.. (640 pixels is getting more and more limiting btw).
I shot about 100 shots out there and am finding that people can really spice up a shot under some circumstances. Glad to hear that you feel it seemed to work here.
Sunsets are great too because the people are so locked in on them they don't know you're including them in the scene :D

Re: Tomorrow
I like the format and all the figures in the other one. In this one the people seem more important than the sunset (and that sure is a nice sunset).

Re: Tomorrow
MB - Agreed. The people are right there. I guess my philosophy is that everyone's seen sunsets. :)
Sort of reminds me of the movie Open Range. I thought it was too slow, that the scenery was great, but that Kevin Costner kept getting in the way of it :D
