    it's very hard capturing statues. I think i gave up a while back.

    having said that, u did well. nice composition. and the addition of the person really shows the scale of this very well. the black and white is also nicely done. over all a great shot!

    edit: only thing, too bad the dude on the horse is a little dark.

    I think you could try something to help the viewers notice the person at the bottom of the statue.

    Did you consider exploring the person at the base as a possible subject with the statue as a BG?
    I like the B&W rendering.
