Re: " A Time to Depart "
I have a hard time critiquing images that are too tall for my screen but I think this works quite well.
I do think it could be wider unless you had to crop something out on the left.
Good b/w tones...Did you convert it?

Re: " A Time to Depart "
You made that 1600 create some great looking B/W noise. I usually detest noise but I really like what it does in this shot. The noisy section on the right hand side is a bit distracting though, don't know why the change in tones like that, it looks very strange - did that come from processing or was it shot like that? I would definitely clone/heal out the wood on the very right side. Good stuff.

Re: " A Time to Depart "
Very nice. I like that it was not shot straight on. the angle lends some interesting shadow. I also see the strange and abrupt changes in tone and light on the right. . .as if a small area was selected and adjusted too much
Very good otherwise .

Ditto Gary, love the clock, wouldn't mind hanging it at home

Re: " A Time to Depart "
There is a lot of what I might call Photoshop/manipulation damage on this image, especially on the rh side and around the clock and kiosk areas. This makes the end result poor and it is a pity because there is some potential otherwise. Maybe worth preparing this one again.
