Great expression in your photo and your story makes it better. I like the way you filled the frame with your subject. Something I continue to struggle with myself, but a sharper focus on his eye would be great. A higher ISO and a faster shutter speed may help. Welcome!

Thank you. I was trying to do natural light from the stove but I used a soft flash setting. I cropped, took out a reflection in his eyeball, and added some color back in with pp.

Man, I used to totally hate going into my crate for the night. Sure you get used to it eventually, but over time being taken away from the fire erodes your soul like waves on granite....
