Luv the shades. The blur give it a nice sense of motion. I will say thats a lot of orange! Cool Picture.

Wow, pretty intense colors there! Glad to see you're taking advantage of the fair.

Not sure, but I think I might desat the colors a little. They seem overwhelming to me. I like the blue at the bottom but it seems a little bland by comparison. I might have raised the angle of the camera and shown more sky than that area (but then we'd tell you you missed the action :) )

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it very much. I thought the colors a bit jumpy as well, but they are as taken. The only PS corrections were to crop a bit and sharpen otherwise the shot is as taken.

    Thanks much.

    Hi CF,

I like the shot. Great motion capture and great colors. I'm sure this is how many feel when they get off :eek6: My only wish would be for some more color in the sky. The long exposure has left it a little washed out.

    Hey, PC...

Thanks very much for the comments. The late evening sky was overcast so there wasn't much definition anyway. But, thanks for comments.

    Hi, John...

Yes, the County Fair offers a once a year opportunity for photos AND the food.

You've added to my inspiration to take photos at the little carnival near here this weekend.
There are so many colors at fairs and seeing the pic reminds me of sites, sounds, smells and tastes which imho makes it a good shot.
If I was picky, I'd like to be able to see the tops of the flags.

    Frog,

Thanks for the great comments. If my photo can serve to inspire others than I will consider that to be a huge compliment and a return of the favor. I have found great inspiration since joining this website.

Get out, shoot some pictures. I look forward to seeing a post or two, or three or four.

    Thanks again.

I think it would have been a little better if the glasses were a little sharper. How do you get so much color out of your pictures? You really have some pop in them.

I love the colours ! Only thing i can maybe think of is not to have had so many of the flags cut off at the top ? Altouhg it would change the composition slightly and may have lost some of the movement in the forground. But i do like it and it grows on me :)
    Great photo.

    Greg/Trichalo:

Thanks very much for the comments. It was the colors of this ride that drew me into the scene. Colors are what they were at the time. The only change I made to this image was a crop off the right side to get a few by-standers out, and a tweek of sharpening. I wish I had all of the flags also but things were moving pretty fast and feel lucky I got what I did. I appreciate your comments.
