    Three Geese A Flyin'

I like some of this shot but not quite all of it.

Its a great capture! I like the DOF and the framing. Its difficult to tell how sharp it is on my work monitor, but it seems nice. What don't you like about it?

Well, the main problem is that the middle one is partly obscured by the front goose. I imagine this is one of the things that bothers you. In an ideal world they would all have separation, but animals are rarely cooperative!

I suppose you could try cloning the middle one out completely?

    Cheers

Generally speaking, you don't want to have birds flying away from you. Birds flying across or angled towards the camera plan usually produce a stronger image. Light is not helping you either resulting in the birds mostly dark. Then there is what Mike has pointed out: one of the goose is partly obscured by the other one. Nice try nonetheless.

nice shot and agree with the comments made earlier. there seems to be some colour fringing on the water from the processing?
