    Memorial Day

Here in the US it is Memorial Day , a Day Dedicated to those who have fallen while serving.

Around my Little town there is a group who Put up Signs on all the poles on the main roads dedicated to that person who has fallen in Iraq It includes the Persons Name , Rank , Age , where they were from and a Flag of there country.

It is very hard not to be moved when you drive by all these signs.

here is One large grouping of Signs on a group of fence posts right across teh street from the high School

May they all rest in Peace!

You shot it at a 5.6 and it's a landscape more or less so your focus you been go farther. Also i would like to see more of the barn in the background rather then the road. It also looks a bit dark.

I wanted some of the street so you can see that thre are signs on those telephone poles. as for being dark. It was overcast and I used a poloraizer, and finally the barn, I didn't even think about that as I was taking the picture that was just luck.

Very poignant. Whether or not it is a great photograph is secondary imo - it should be recorded because these guys are not just statistics, but people who had a future and loved ones. It's nice to see also that your little town includes the people from other countries who have died.
