    Country Driveway

I started not to post this picture, but my wife likes it so here it is. I think it needs something else. I took this with E-6 and scanned the slide...

Well Greg with all due repect this picture need a subject. The first thing that comes to my mind is someone walking toward the viewer on the path but it could also be a vehicule, an animal... Also, I'd crop the right side to get rid of the white fence. The fence doesn't seem to add anything to the scene and it draws a lot of attention since it's the brightest element in the scene.

I agree with Seb. Lose the fence and have your wife walk down the driveway. OR in the fall when the leaves fall have a very tall man walking hand in hand with his small child - away from the camera. That's how I see it.

I think your image could use some color correction. On my screen the image seems to be a little too red/magenta. The focus seems soft too. You might try darkening the foreground and lightening the background. Another thought is convert to B & W.

ill go with the otheres on what they said, but ill add maybe you should go back for a reshoot when you have some time, possible with someone to be your subject in walking the path, id like to see how it would turn out
