Hello everyone. I've been a long time reader of this forum and I've finally decided to become active in it (or finally had the guts to). This is a picture of my dog I snapped yesterday with my new D70. I just got the camera on Monday and I love it. Although I still like my N80 I really think I'm going to like this digital stuff. Anyway, about the photo, my dog is notoriously hard to get on film (never stops moving) but I managed to snag this one. I know the crop is very tight and cuts off the ears and a little of his chin but I still like it. Of course I am a little biased.

I like the 'up close and personal' feel of the shot. What was the lighting and what was your white balance setting? The shot looks a little cool to me on my monitor. I'd rather see the tounge more pink than magenta. Could be my monitor settings though.

Thanks Chunk, it was actually on Auto (white balance is still new to me). This time I brought it into Photoshop as Flash (which was used).
