Hey Planted Tao,
I like the subject you've chosen here. I just think it has way more potential. Get in there and work with those angles and textures. Do some close crops and camera tilts(I'm partial to this).
I'd love to see you get close and work with that painted arrow on the wall.
Here's a couple of crops I did. I upped the contrast a bit too.
Cheers.

Hi there. This one is neat, simple and quite effective. One thing though, there is too much foreground for no reason i think. I agree with JK_Photo crops and suggestions.
I must say that I am partial to "industrial" shots but I like your subject.
One kick idea. It could worth to go back there at night with a couple of lights and coloured filters to paint these reflectives surfaces with coloured lights. Ok, this is something that I haven't even tried myself but I think that having the same scene at night with blue/purple glow would be quite something.

I like your first crop a lot...big improvement on my original. I'm not to sure about the second because it removes a element I like, which is the concrete block and shadow. This was the reason captured the picture to begin with. Funny thing is I never noticed the arrow and would like to back and make it a more prominent focus. Thanks for tips.

I like your idea about the night shot. I would like to try that with color and b&w at night. It will have to go down in the idea book for now. I need to get the equipment that would make this shot feasible.
Cheers.

Re: Texture & Shadow
If the title is what you were after here, I think you've framed it up well.
I to like the top crop by JK
It would be neat, if this place is still in operation, to go back on a warm day during lunch time.
You may be able to catch a couple of shop employees having lunch on that block of concrete(?)

Oh, yes. The arrow...I was drawn to that right off. What on earth is it doing there?! (Sometimes I read too much into things.)
I love the crops and agree on the foreground. You are definitely exploring great avenues with your subjects. Keep on.
