    Heron and reflection

This was a shot I took rather quickly since he was starting to move away from the water. I'm playing with levels to brighten it a bit, and I'm not really much at Photoshop yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

as an avid fan and photographer of wildlife photos, i know how difficult it is to capture the right moment and composition. i'm not troubled by the brightness level as much as the large tree on the right which distracts, for me, from focusing my eye on the bird.

if you don't mind doing some major photoshop work, i suggest cropping off some of the right side (quick way to discard most of the tree) and then using the stamp tool to clone the grass over the remaining section of the tree branch. (this suggestion may rub photo purists the wrong way due to the gross image manipulation, but oh well..)

    cheers!
