I was hoping it would be a turntable. Nice.

Re: Technics
Love the blues. Beautiful abstract quality to the image. These are becoming dinosaurs. I gave my whole LP collection to my son-in-law and he is converting them to CD's for me.

Re: Technics
Like this blue one a lot.
I am curious about the lighting? Did you light it with blue or accomplish this with post processing?
Nice elemental placement to give a very 'techno' feel. The high contrast lighting and noise give it a gritty feel that works with this subject.
Glad you shared it!

I just disected an old keyboard I had and took one of the high lumen LED's out of it and positioned it correctly against the turntable.
Turntables aren't getting ancient. Technics (or turntables even) are used by most DECENT DJ's in the world. I'm not talking about your little sweet 16 party, i'm talking about 50,000 people events. I still use turntables on a daily basis to beatmatch and harmonically beatmatch music to make it flow with no ends in the music for a good hour.
Anyways, thanks for the comments.

Re: Technics
Very different feel to your photo than what is usually posted. Including my own. Nice choice, nice shot. I knew what it was immediately. Brings back memories as I have long since left my turntable for digital.

Re: Technics
Daring shot. The blue effect is really cool and relaxing. I wish there was a little more light however, to see more of what is going on in the photo. What is the dot pattern on the left-side blue area? It could be texture of the object, but it almost seems like wash out from increasing the lightness of the photo (if not, appologies). Anyways, you got me thinking about what's going on here..

Here's an overexposed one, though I think it looks cool. It gives more light.
