Tarmac
Also from last Sunday morning after I shot the Construction Site one. It's a different cup of tea, I hope it works for you. I am a bit bothered about the green bit. But shurely I did not want to move that thing around.

Re: Tarmac
The car at the top bothers me a lot more than the green. I wish all of it was there or non of it.

Re: Tarmac
MB1, to be honest, if the car wasn't there, I would have not posted it. I like the image especially because of it and I will tell you why: Firstly it makes the photo kind of unique, otherwise anybody could go back and shoot the same photograph, including myself, I could also go back and try a better angle or so, but not with the car.
Secondly, the red-white road guides lead at least my view from the bottom to the top where it ends at the black car (red always works well with black). Thirdly, one can hardly tell what car model it is, which I think is good as the car is just a neutral car and not a BMW or whatever. What do you think?

Re: Tarmac
What I like here alot is all the lines and curves. The red & white dividers, the skid marks, the tarmac grooves, the oil stains. They all form lines of straight, angled and curved. It is interesting as well as the detail of texture in the tarnac and various other elements. when I get to the piece of car included at the top, it looks like an unintentional mistake being it's inclusion.the car only takes away from this photo, for me.
good eye for turning something into a worthy subject.
