Re: tap water
i love the water, it looks really sharp and the timing was great. My only complaint is that the photo is too dark for my taste. the 2nd shot is amazing. i really like the look.

Re: tap water
I LOVE the second shot. Beautiful b&w and great contrasting :)

Re: tap water
both great shots...num1..has some nice metallic energy going and a really cool bokeh. I can see that in a food type publication. Num2 ..I think the jet black background helps pull everything out..and in here. seems surreal..dreamish

Re: tap water
I don't like the streak of light above the spigot and think most of the top should be cropped.
I like the second one a lot and the black background works well to highlight the model.

Re: tap water
I like both images for different reasons. The cool smoothness of the metal echoes what I expect to be the cool smoothness of the drop. The dark appeals to me, but I like surreal and haunting images that make one wonder about what evoked the need in the artist to take the shot in the first place. And the second is just spectacular. The light is hitting everything as if just softly outlining the important parts of the capture. The only nitpick (and only because it really is so great to me) is that sweater or whatever that is lying behind her. I wish it hadn't been there. But it hardly detracts from the image to make it unappealing!

Re: tap water
I appreciate that the second picture was taken in very contrasty lighting and, considering that, you have done really well with it - the model's face is very good. The foreground rocks, however, are burnt out in a couple of places and I think that needs to be dealt with.
