    untitled

I really don't know if this works. It was a kind of quick shot as I was walking and noticed the angles. I like it and I don't like it. Advice & suggestions welcome.

I have to agree with you but I can't think of any thing that would change my dislike of it. Maybe a wider lens to get more of the church???

I always take random pictures like this Frog. It's good exercise for your eye. You like the angles, you took the picture, you walk on. It's not a masterpiece and you've said as much, but it's perfectly OK as an exercise. Also it's fun to take these things and deconstruct them. If I could have your permission to manipulate your file I would love to show you what I mean.

I think it does kind of work but I notice that it is a little dark (I bet the building is white not 18% grey) and I wish the lamp post was completly vertical.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: untitled

If the angles are what struck you about this spot, analyze how you can maximize their impact. I agree with Frey that a wide angle lens could be interesting. Also a different vantage point, like from a nearby roof. Here's what I did to maximize your angles. It still may not be good ~ but it is different. The most important thing to remember is to have fun with your pictures and don't let the rules win every time. Keep fiddling with something until you are happy with it. Then brazenly show it to the world and say I made this!

Boy that gives it a different perspective, C.L.
Sometimes when I'm making my adjustments to stuff and it isn't turning out right I just start pushing the sliders as far as the will go with interesting effects and sometimes I get into the filters and play with them. I think I'll just keep this one to play with too.
    Thankyou!

MB the building is actually gray. Thankyou for looking.
